- Thinking of selling your property? Have you given your bond bank notice of your intention to sell? Many of the banks still charge an early termination penalty interest in the event where the bank has not been notified of the possibility of sale. The average notice period is generally 3 months but it is wise to contact your bank to ensure that you provide sufficient notice and are following the correct procedure according to the specific bank’s requirements.
