Qualification: BComm degree (1989), LLB degree(1991), University of Stellenbosch. Lucas completed his Articles in 1992-1993. He passed his Attorney admission exams at the end of 1993 and was admitted as an Attorney in February 1994. Lucas was admitted as a Conveyancer in 1994 and as Notary 1995. During 1998,Lucas obtained his 2 year H Dip Tax Diploma through distant learning with the University of Johannesburg (then RAU). Lucas specialises in all aspects of Conveyancing, commercial contracts, township and sectional title development, notarial contracts, water rights, Company registration and trusts. Lucas has distinguish himself as a well-respected and leading Property Attorney within the Zululand Area and leads Bothas Inc with pride and vigour. Hobbies: Deep sea fishing, golf, bowls and clay pigeon shooting. Lucas has represented Zululand on various occasions at the National Bill Fish Tournament held at Sodwana and was selected for the South African Deep Sea Team as Captain in 2023. He enjoys travelling and spending quality time with his family.
